Hello,

if you can post on our support forums we might be able to get you up and running. However if the Elite hardware only support default relaxed realism models with no configuration editing for advanced users, then unfortunately it’ll be up to Elite to update there hardware to support the advanced software simulations on the market, similar to Elites competitors who allow our users to build entire cockpits for training around the software.

thanks,
Lewis – A2A Simulations

All other planes of FSX work well with Elite Panel Pro II.

I am currently training for my PPL, already past solo. When I first started, this A2A Cessna 172 helped me so much. It is very similar to the real cessna I train in. With this A2A Cessna 172, I learned how to use the autopilot, Garmin gps as it was very very similar to the one in the plane I train in, learned flows, learned VOR Navigations so well to the point that I am flying VOR Approaches as a Student pilot and flying around only using VOR with GPS off, and so much more. Learned it on the sim, and not in the air for $190 an hour plus $75 for the instructor. Saved me real money. Thank you. I plan to get my high performance, and the 182 you guys have is exactly like the one I plan to rent. I cannot wait to purchase that and learn it here on the sim then be proficient as soon as I step into the aircraft for the first time.

I have flown in and had the pleasure to actually fly this aircraft. I cannot put enough praise into my words here! The Accusim features go even further in letting you get to know you airplane and motivates you to do all of the correct real things that are involved in flying light airplanes. The feel, the sound, the looks – all top notch. Everything functions that is necessary to make a real pilot out of you, even if only on your pc at home. For the money this is unbeatable. You can do your walk-around, check outside and inside, do the runnups and watch the temps and pressures etc. all react as they should in the environment you find yourself in (cold, warm, humid, etc.). An absolute must-have for simmers and real pilots as well.

And good on the learning curve to learn the basics for a few hours before purchasing other aircraft. These planes are the best to invest in as far as realism in owning and operating an aircraft.

I’ve flown various “simulators” for over 20 years (off and on), but this product is an extremely realistic training simulator. The flight characteristics of this product compare very well with the discovery flight I recently took. With the the accufeel add on, the gentle yet responsive characteristics of the C172 SP made me feel like I was back in the plane! In my DC I was privileged to actually get to take off, fly, and land (with some critical help of course), so I know what this plane flies like. It also handles exceptionally well on the ground which is tricky if you have ever tired to actually taxi one of these using the rudder pedals and brakes. Though I am still using a joystick (as I’m waiting on my rudder pedals to make my yoke controller more functional) I can control this C172 on the ground where as using the FSX add on C172 it is very demanding (that may be a configuration issue). I can not recommend this product strongly enough if you are considering becoming a pilot! Thank you A2A for the hours of work and attention to detail you have put into this true simulation experience.

But actually it’s the perfect trainer aircraft and one learns a lot of important stuff that comes in handy when switching to more powerful aircrafts like the A2A C182 or PA-24. And I particularly like the modern look of the C172R.

Until I bought it, all my add ons was just a pretty picture, normally with flaws. A2A introduced me to a whole new world, the world of Accu-Sim, where my aircraft came alive, and I really started to look after it. No more full throttle cruising, no more full thottle approaches, I really tried to take care of my aircraft, keeping it inside the operating limits, with a bit of margin, looking into a real C172R Pilot Operating Handbook, just to try to understand the aircraft a bit more. Nowadays I fly Accu-Sim aircraft on about 99% of my FSX hours, because I like to think I’m a pilot, who is dependent of the aircraft, like a self employed truck driver, that won’t make any money if the truck is broken. After every flight in my C172, I check the condition of the aircraft in the maintenance hangar, and hope she is OK, ready to go on the next trip.
If you think a C172 is a bit boring, try to handfly an IFR approach, in IMC, online, doing all the flying and comms, and I’ll guarantee the A2A C172 Trainer will feel more exciting than you hoped for.
Happy flying!

-Tomas
